A scientist once out of curiousity hooked a polygraph machine up to one of his office plants. First he tried pooring water over it; nothing happened. Then he thought about takeing off one of the leaves and burning it. JUST the THOughT of this made the polygraph machine hooked up to the plant go berserk!
The with further study the scientist learned the plant could pick up on human thought and intention and reacted to it with emotion.

I posted the moon phase here because although the moon may be seperate from Earth, Luna effects our earth in great ways some of which we can't even fathum. The Moon directs the tides, and the breeding patterns of major groups of animals, Its phases were a bases for the calandar and showed ancient peoples the passing of time. The moon is a great mystery, although the sun is much farther away and much bigger, in our skies the moon and the sun appear the same size. Some hypothosis even say that the moon was once a part of the Earth herself and when millions of years ago Earth was hit by another planet the moon split away from her. I hope to have more info up on the moon here in time.
