Hi all, I plan to have the Zeneta book up very very soon! I got some of the printing issues workd out and I promised another artist whose work inspired one of the characters I would let her see it first, so I sent her a preview and am waiting to hear back from her. She already pretty much said it was ok though and I have her refrenced in the book, so if I don't hear from her in a few days I'm just going to go ahead and open the book up to the public to buy. I'm going to try to get an e-mail list together and start up an sort of newsletter to send out to try and help publize it, as well as this site and my Zazzle store. If you end up on the list and you don't want to be, or visa versa, just e-mail me back saying so at Shadowind@live.com so that I can take you off
Besides that there is not much news for my news and updates section at the moment, so I will just post a few photos I have taken recently!

recently found out about zazzle, i have some old cafepress stores but i have never quite been happy with them and I haven't done anything with them in ages so my work on the stuff there is rather dated.
zazzle seems alot more fun as you can change the layout of the store eazily to look what you want it to look like, were as i always had trouble doing that to my cafepress stores (never been excellent at that html code stuff).
It also seems to have more variety of items you can have stuff printed on. it has shoes and skateboards. For some reason I have always thought designing a skateboard would be fun
(even though I don't skateboard myself, something about the shape of it and the way the designs are printed nice and glossy on the wood I just find very appealing for some reason)
and ever since I noticed that on their site it has been nagging at the back of my head... so today I designed a dragon skateboard!

I never sold much on cafepress so I dought I will sell much on zazzle either but you never know *shrugs*
besides that I finally finished the final editing for Zeneta, I got the copy I ordered from lulu only there were some problems with printing, so now I am trying to sort that out so I can put it up for sale to public and such.
will going away on the 13 and won't be back until 17 or 18 hopefully spark my inspiration some while on vacation!

I added some videos at the bottom of the "Earth Energy" Page, quite interesting take a looksee. Also I plan to put up photos of my chalk walk this year in the "Art" section soon. Been doing som final editing and stuff on the Zeneta project, hope to have that done soon and up here, besides that not much new.

I took some of the drums off the "Art for Sale" page as I am planning to enter them in a show, however I hope to put up some other drums soon. I have been getting ready for a number of shows comeing up lately framing them and such, so I haven't gotten too many new works finished or alot else to update on this site. I have started a new painting but its nowhere near being finished and I have alot planned for it yet, still I posted a work in progress photo of it on my devaint art so if you want to see it stop by my gallery there

I figured out today that I can make a regular page and turn it into a shopping page by makeing "add to cart" buttons useing my paypal account. In doing this I am not limited to 5 products like I am if I use the Webs "web store" page that webs sets up for you. So I have deleted my old "Web Store" page and replaced it with the Page that now says "Artwork for Sale"
Besides that no new updates for the moment, hope all is well for ya' all

I've been makeing alot of progress on my book illustrations, keep an eye on my" "writing" page for updates! I plan on starting a mailing list when I finish the book on Lulu and hopefully get more people coming to this page.
I recently found also that although because of my paypal account I can have a Webstore, I cannot put up more than five items for sale unless I pay to have a premium account here on Webs, which is aggrivateing to say the least. I may do it eventually but I don't have the money to do it now and the whole point of me selling stuff online was to help me make money 
sooooo If you are interested in buying a drum that is not shown on my Web Store but says it is "in the studio" on my Drum Gallery in my "ART" page then send me an e-mail and I will certainly get back to you!

Not much to report, still working on logos and illustrations. I updated the About the Artist page I decided I wanted it to feel a bit more proffessional, and I updated the About Commissions page a bit. Put up an image of the painting I am doing of Cricket and updated the image of the Portrait I have done of Monkey. I hope to get a paypal account set up soon so business online will be easier and I can sell thing s in my shop here. I'll post an update on that when it happens, and I will start trying to advirtise this place more as well when I get that done.
I've been working alot in the garden lately getting things planted, I hope to spend some of my time this summer on its upkeep as my dad didn't do so well with it last year and since I have the time I figured I might as well. I quite enjoy working with the plants and think I have been doing pretty good so far. Yesterday I got a hibiscus for my studio as I have been wanting one for a while now. It seems to be ajusting to its new home quite well and I am enjoying the added color of haveing a flowering plant. The neighboorhood is haveing a garage sale this weekend so I will probably be pretty busy with that as well, but I do hope to update a bit more soon.

Hi all, I know I haven't done much updateing lately, sorry about that. I currently have been working on doing a logo for a band, for a internet friend who lives in California. I have also been doing Illustrations for a short childrens book that my Mum wrote. I am rather enjoying it , but although the book is short and simple for young readers, I want the illustrations to be really nice, as I think alot of children's book illustrations sort of "draw down" to kids as if they aren't good enough for good art, or they think to get kids attention they have to draw like kids themselves, I am not sure. Anyways its takeing me some time as I want the drawings to be really beautiful.
When I was a kid I always liked the really beautiful illustrations that made me want to imagine those sort of things that were in the book, I loved the illustrations with lots of color and detail much more then the ones that seem to "draw down" to kids level.
I also recently made a trip to Shipsawana and so I have a bunch more blank drums to paint that I haven't even started on as of yet. So along with the pet portraits that i am doing of Monkey and Cricket you can see I have enough to keep me busy.
The last warm day we had I started on the garden, I figure as I don't have a "real" job yet, until I get one I will do alot of the work on the garden this year. Well until next update, stay safe and healthy all!

I realised that part of my resume was missing from the resume page, the Awards section some how got left out when I originally put my resume up there, so I fixed that. I also got rid of the blog section, because I don't think I am useing it enough for it to be worth while and If i think there is anything worth while to blog about I will add it in here to the news and updates section as I can also add pictures here and I can't in the blog. I am thinking of organizeing a list of e-mails from other groups that I get e-mails from to tell about my site here to get it a little advertisement as i don't think its getting alot of attention from people.

I added a work in progress picture of a portrait I am doing of my cat "Monkey" to the "About Commissions" page as a sampling of what I can do as far as pet potraits, I hope to have more examples soon. keep in mind it is a work in progress * as there are some things I still want to change with it*
I added some stuff to the Earth Energy page and hope to be adding more to that page again soon as well and always keep a look out for new links ! I've got to go to student show at the university tonight (MY Last Student Show! Hurray!) so thats all for now!

I've been trying to get pictures or photos from source sites as banners in my "My Links" and my "other links" section as well as adding a few links. For other news on what I am have been doing lately I posted a blog today. If you have a website and you would like for me to have it linked on one of my link pages let me know!
I am wondering if I ought to either eliminate the blog page and just blog here when I blog as a part of the news or if I should keep both areas? I can't see any way of posting images on my blog area wich is kind of annoying so I could see useing this area as a blog area alternativly , but if you have any thoughts let me know.

~haven't done too much lately, been working on painting drums and other projects, and getting stuff ready for my last Student Show at the University. Today i signed up at a few places that are suppose to help advertise websites for free, so hopefully i can get a few more people stopping by here on my site. I also hope to get a paypal account soon so i can start offering my art for sale on the Web store page. Thats all for now

~I've changed some things around added some pages and gotten rid of some other pages, I changed the layout of the site cause I wasn't likeing how the advertisement showed up over at the side of the page or how the Title looked. Unfortunatly the Ad stays until I have money to pay for an upgrade, but I find it less bothersome when it is under the site navation area.
I hope the new look is more appealing, I may eventually change the top pictures with the leaves and moss to something else of my own creation . Some of the pages still don't have much on them yet but watch for new stuff to be showing up in the coming weeks!

~ Over the past days I have been adding images and links, My portfolio page now has art on it, although there are still more peices I am going to add. My Resume is up on the Resume page so if your interested in hireing me for anything...like illustrateing a book, or if you just want to commission me for a Pet Portrait feel free to e-mail me at the e-mail I have posted, I would be thrilled to do anything to get my art more public so please let me know!
I have also added links on my Links page that will send you to my other online galleries, to my online shops were (if you feel so generous and you like my art) you can buy my work on T-Shirts and other great items.
Also check out my videos section, I currently have two projects that I did while at the University up there, My Senior Project "Pesky Pixie!" as well as my final project for my traditioal animation class "Ashes to Rivers" I hope to add more to this section in time as well. Will be constantly updateing so come back often and look for what is new!
